Eisenhower 2018 QB/CB Jack Morris threw an incredible touchdown pass to Eisenhower 2018 WR/S Ben Mets in the final minute of their game vs. Rochester Adams to lift the Eagles to a District Championship.

Morris filling in for the injured Max Wittwer saved an epic, gutsy, and heroic performance for the final drive after fumbling in the red zone on the previous drive.

The senior QB had a controversial play on the Eagles 2nd to last drive in which, Morris was flushed out of the pocket and fell. Morris' knee may or may not have touched the turf, no whistle blew and he turned up field for around 20 yards. Morris had a nice drive that moved the ball deep into Adams territory, but the drive ended with a fumble on 3rd down.

The Eagles defense then used their 2 timeouts, forcing Rochester Adams to punt. The Eagles wasted no time looking to hit the big play.

The running attack of Morris at QB and an another strong performance from Junior RB Caleb Oyster meant that Rochester Adams would still have to worry about them moving the chains. A fake by Morris on the game winning touchdown pass where it appeared to be a pitch, proved key as it froze the Adams D for a second and the Eagles attacked the opportunity.

For the Highlanders Junior Kicker Ben Patton added 2 clutch field goals which vs. most teams on this night would have been more than enough for the win. 2018 LB/RB Stephen Roncelli was an absolute freak as the LB easily had double-digit tackles and was an aggressive runner. One of the best plays of the day was a toss out to Roncelli in which he appeared to be tackled in open field, but miraculously broke free and ran out of bounds to stop the clock.

Cole Patritto and Missouri commit Vincent Gray had great games, Patritto had a huge first down catch that set up Adams first points. Gray wasn't tested on defense and had an incredible yards after catch in the 3rd quarter for a huge gain. Gray deflected a pass right before halftime back into play where the Highlanders intercepted the pass.

Chase Kareta is another played who has impressed us the past and playing in his final high school game played a great game on both sides of the ball, including an interception.

Rochester Adams was driving downfield in the final seconds, but was short of the endzone, following nearly a dozen laterals, the Eagles made the stop around midfield to seal an incredible victory.

#4 Eisenhower will now host #8 West Bloomfield in a battle of great football teams on what will likely take place on Friday, November 10th at Utica's Swinehart Field.
