Game Preview and Prospects The D Zone will be seeing at Linden and Notre Dame Prep (Story)

The 2021 football season is slated to kickoff on August 26th at noon and the action will not stop until Saturday evening. Most of the top 25 teams face tough competition this week and some winning streaks may be snapped early this season.

The nightcap of Vehicle City Classic features two annually strong programs.

Below are the prospects we're aware of entering the game. We look forward to discovering more talent.

Notre Dame Prep:

2022 OLB/TE Johnny Dreer had some big moments last year and is 6' 194. I'd expect NDP to use Dreer all over as an h-back and he runs well.

2024 QB Jacob Tuttle will replace senior Jacob Bendsten and the dual-sport 6'1 170 lbs QB is on the verge of a breakout sophomore season.

2022 WR/CB Billy Newman is a possession receiver who gets open and creates separation well. Holds D-III interest now.

2022 DE/TE Evan Noga holds an NAIA offer and is a strong presence coming off of the edge. 6'3 220 with good pass-rushing abilities.

Linden:

2023 MLB/RB Bryce Eliuk is one of the top returning juniors in the state. The 6' 220 lbs can be a 1-man wrecking ball when needed. He drops in coverage well and also excels at OLB too.

2023 TE/LB Conner Brown is a 6'2 195 lbs prospect.

2022 QB/S Brandon Green is a 6'2 190 lbs starting QB who played some snap 2 years ago. He played WR last year.
