Prospects The D Zone will be seeing at Denby and Osborn (Story + Game Preview)
The D Zone's Stu Carlin will be covering this PSL semi-final on Saturday afternoon at Northwestern High School in Detroit. Detroit Denby lost in the PSL finals last year to Detroit Central, so they'll be hungry to get back to the finals. Meanwhile Osborn went from 0 to 100 this year. They were 1-8 last year and now are 6-1. The winner of this game will play the winner of Cody and Mumford next week.
Below are the prospects we're aware of entering the game. We look forward to discovering more talent.
Denby:
2019 RB/CB T’Shawn Wilkes is a nice and shifty back who is the key to the Tars offense who is 6'2 202 lbs, if they can get him moving - it opens up so much for the passing game.
2019 DE Adrian Brown is a 6'2 230 lbs prospect who recently got his first offer from Urbana (D2).
2019 MLB Ty’Metrius Patterson is a solid prospect who is extremely under the radar at this point. Patterson is very aggressive and can get in the backfield fast.
2019 OLB/RB Jonathan Moreland is a 5'10 220 lbs LB who shows strong awareness of reading/reacting to play. He closes very strong around the ball.
2020 DT Jermaine Trammell is a high motor 5'11 260 lbs DT prospect who is generating Division 1 interest.
2019 OC Jaivon Preston is a 6'2 305 lbs OC prospect who holds Concordia and Urbana offers.
2019 OT Louie Curtis is a 6'5 310 lbs prospect who can run and pass block well.
2019 WR/CB Jamari Griffin is a vertical threat who can make tough catches look easy with his length.
Osborn:
2019 QB Isiah Watts is a 6'3 187 lbs QB for the Knights who has had a monsterous senior season with 1,645 passing yards and 19 touchdown passes. Watts who is a dual-sport athlete has definitely played himself as one of the top QB's in this senior class.
2019 WR Remel Carter is the Knights big play threat that Denby will have problems with as Carter is 6'5 190 lbs and has a wide arm-span.
