I play with intensity behind each step I take. I strive to achieve perfection on and off the field as a well rounded athlete. I play very physical and given the opportunity I take the hearts and minds of my opponents. I still have a lot to learn even now playing high school football.
I like to confuse my opponent, play mind game with them. For example I may use power against my opponent the whole quarter and when I have him on his toes coming for me I use my speed to defeat him. Switching between those later in the game, my opponent won’t know what move I’ll make, giving me time to chose the right one and make the play.
As I look back, I realized that I wouldn’t be the same player that I’m am today if I didn’t go through those past experiences. I have something to prove to the coaches that looked me over. For the experiences that weren’t good, I didn’t use them to gain pity from other people, instead I used them to add too me and mold me in to a better player.
Playing at the next level is something that I want to do whole heartedly and I am willing to work hard to achieve this goal. My mother has invested a lot into my career and I won’t let it go to waste. As for my father, football was his favorite sport and I want to honor his memory by making it as far as I can in my football career. I want become the best player that I can possibly be for the both of them. But I don’t only play for him and my mother, I play for myself and for God.
