I have many intangibles because I am called to play different positions at any given moment from great route running and catcher to using my speed and power in the backfield to push pass the linebackers or using my vision and field IQ to man up the receivers. I can be a game changer at multiple position because I love studying my opponents trying to figure out how to use their weaknesses to our advantage.
I am definitely a coachable player. This year we had some personnel changes which really switched up my positions the first couple games which was a challenge for me but I was able to thrive in that position by listening to my coaches advice. I play smart by trying to make sure I don’t make mistakes that cost us yards and unnecessary injuries. My overall speed has be referenced as one of my strengths so I have worked hard to do what I can to increase it like being in the weight room all summer, working my ladder and drills for footwork.
Overall I have really enjoyed my football experience. My freshman year I was allowed to play Varsity during the playoffs. I liked when the made up the five quarter rule because that allowed me to experience playing offense and defense on Varsity my sophomore year which better prepared me to actually play Varsity now that I am a Junior. Football has been fun and I love the competitiveness but sometimes frustrating too because I want to win every game. My goal is to continue to study and work hard to be the best. We of course want to go all the way to the Finals and play at Ford Field.
I definitely want to play at the next level. My dream since I hit the football field in the third grade has to play at a D1 school. I have worked hard every season trying to get better to achieve this goal not only because I LOVE football but also because I believe that a good education is important to be successful in life. I want every coach to know that I not only play with speed and power but more importantly I play with my heart.
I also participate in Track and Field and received multiple medals and awards. I placed 5th in the Mega STAR (MIDDLE SCHOOL TRACK MEET) I also qualified for ALL COUNTY in the 70 meters &100 meters
