My natural leadership qualities. As captain of the 2024 varsity team, I helped lead our team to a 9-0 regular season and an outright OK Black conference championship. My coaches have been able to depend on me to bring intensity to every practice, and push my teammates to elevate their game. I have a versatile skill set that gives me the ability to adapt and play any position asked of me. My knowledge that comes from playing both sides of the ball provides a strategic advantage as I am able to understand the field from multiple perspectives allowing me to read and anticipate opponents more effectively.
My time with the Northview Football field and my coaches has truly shaped who I am today. Looking back on my high school football career, I feel incredibly proud and grateful for all that I’ve accomplished and learned. Football has shaped me in so many ways, and every season has brought new challenges and goals that have helped me grow as an athlete and a person.Throughout my time at Northview, I’ve had the chance to play multiple positions.I’ve been able to contribute on both offense and defense, which has been a huge accomplishment for me. The pride I feel when my hard work shows up on the field is unmatched, and I’m especially proud of moments when my performance helped my team secure a win.
Beyond high school, I’m excited by the possibility of playing football at the college level. My time at Northview has prepared me for what lies ahead, and I feel confident that I have the dedication and mindset needed to succeed. I plan to keep training hard, both in the offseason and in the classroom, to ensure I’m ready for whatever opportunities come my way.
In the long run, I hope to leverage my football experience as a pathway to college, where I can continue competing while earning a degree. I’ve learned discipline, leadership, and resilience from this sport—qualities that I know will serve me well in all areas of life. My plan is to use these lessons to build a successful future, whether that’s in football, academics, or a career beyond.
Playing football at the next level is something I’m definitely interested in. I love the game, not just for the physical competition, but for the mental challenge and the sense of brotherhood. Competing at a collegiate level would allow me to push my abilities even further and test myself against the best.
What drives me isn’t just the idea of playing college football, but the chance to be part of a program where I can make an impact both on and off the field. I’m the type of player who brings my all every day—not just on game day but in practices, workouts, and in how I support my teammates. Coaches would find I’m someone who listens, learns, and adapts quickly. I’ve played multiple positions—running back, outside linebacker, and long snapper—so I understand the game from different perspectives. I take pride in my versatility and in being someone my coaches can count on in any situation.
For me, football isn’t just about personal success; it’s about the commitment I’ve made to my team and to myself to always improve. I don’t want to be just another player on the field. I want to be the one pushing my teammates and making a difference, no matter the situation. I’m willing to put in the hard work and go the extra mile to make that happen.
