Downhill PG, can go both ways, physical finisher, with nuanced midrange game and college range on the outside. Physical defender who moves extremely well laterally and never gets too handsy. Leader on the court, clear communicator, with positive body language and infectious attitude.

This is my first upcoming season of high school basketball. My goal was to make the varsity team as a freshman and have succeeded in doing that as I'll be on the Lumen Christi Varsity Basketball team this coming season coached by state title winning coach Josh Tropea. My next goal is to earn a regular contributor spot in the top 7 of the varsity roster with a stretch goal of starting during the 2024/25 HS Basketball season.

My ultimate goal is to play at the next level after my high school career. The opportunity is there if I continue to work year-round on my game and put the coaching I receive into action, reflecting my growth as a complete player.

5-10 Jackson Lumen Christi (Freshman) Really liked the play of this stocky strong guard. Drove to the basket without fear and finished through contact more than once. Offset the drive game with extremely deep range on the perimeter. The parochial gridiron power is starting to really build something on the hardwood. Players like this are going to keep that momentum up.

Burgess is definitely a player that some schools will want on their radar. He goes to his right with physicality and can finish in and through traffic. Burgess takes a straight line to the rim and can use a nice hesitation dribble to get there. I really like his ability to change speeds with the ball in his hands and he has a nice speed burst that can put defenders on his hip.
